Using Mistables

I picked up a package of Pink Paislee’s (Mist)ables the other week. After seeing a video for EK Success’s new flower punches, I thought I could probably do the same thing with this trim.

So, I cut a length of the middle trim and wrapped and rolled until I was satisfied. Then, I adhered it with dots of the Best Glue Ever.

I then grabbed a few misting items – some Smooch Spray and three different colors of Glimmer Glam to paint the flower.

While the flower was drying I made the background of the card. First, I treated my paper with the Perfect Crafting Pouch. Then, I stamped my image with embossing ink and used clear embossing powder. Then I grabbed four to five colors of Distress Ink and went to town. The embossing powder acts as a resist to the ink.

A stamped tag, a bit of background paper and a pretty ribbon and I was done!

Supplies Used: Perfect Crafting Pouch, Best Glue Ever, Smooch Spray ink, Glimmer Glam by Tattered Angels, Tim Holtz Distress Ink, Hero Arts stamp, American Crafts Stamp, Cosmo Cricket paper, Bazzill Basics cardstock, ribbon – stash.
