Michelle here today, sharing how I easily created a colorful & fun tag,
using the innovative products from ScraPerfect.

Now unto how I put it all together!
The tag base I chose was a 6.5″x3″ mixed media paper tag, with a larger hole than the standard tags we normally see.
Using a colorful and fun patterned piece of scrap paper from my stash, I added Best Glue Ever, using a No-Clog Writing Cap (also available through ScraPerfect) on the back of the paper, and then attached it to the tag.
Because Best Glue Ever has a generous tack time, I was able to adjust the paper placement, and then used scissors to trim off excess.
For the next step, I wanted to add texture, color & interest to the background, so I applied Aladine’s Texture Paper in Pearl with a spatula, using a piece of sequin punchinella as a stencil, randomly placing it over the surface of the tag.
I then set the texture medium using my heat tool.
For coloring, I chose Aladine’s Zink in Topaz, applying it with a little water, and a watercolor brush.
Just for a bit more interest, I used a script designed stamp, along with Stazon Ink in Jet Black, randomly over the tag.
For a bit of geo metric kick, I used die cut shapes, embellished with Bottles Of Embellies from ScraPerfect, applied using Best Glue Ever.
**I also used ScraPerfect Embellie Gellie, to pick up the tiny embellies, once they had been set on the shapes.
After the glue had set, I added the shapes to the tag, again using Best Glue Ever.
Using the Perfect Crafting Pouch, I lightly dusted the die cut banner, and proceeded to stamp the dance, to coordinate with the Tim Holtz Paper Doll I had chosen to use on this tag.
Adding the final embellishements of both a paper and resin flowers, I added the paper doll, and banner, using foam squares for lift. I finished up using seambinding and sheer ribbon in the tag hole.
I mean how fun & perky is this for a sentiment tag to gift someone with?
