Pretty Shabby Chic Gift Box Made Perfect With Best Glue Ever

Hello there, welcome to the
ScraPerfect blog.

Michelle here today to share how
to convert a plain gift box into a pretty Shabby Chic inspired one.
And all made easy with products from ScraPerfect.

Products from ScraPerfect used:
Best Glue Ever

No-Clog Writing Cap

Embellie Gellie

To begin, I created a gift box using my Cricut machine and lightweight chipboard  with an attached closable lid. I then measured and cut a pretty shabby rose pattern paper, to fit all sides, top & bottom of the box and used the
Best Glue Ever with the No-Clog Writing Cap to adhere each piece, and used both through out the remainder of the project too.

With a bone folder, I curved each edge of the paper and secured with Best Glue Ever.

I used gesso, dry brushed on and Distress Ink in a light charcoal like shade, to add a shabby look to the patterned paper, followed by gluing seam binding ribbon to the center of the bottom, back & lid to be tied at the front of the box.

Once ribbon had set, I used a remnant of lace I had left over from another project, glued into place with Best Glue Ever.

I also used Best Glue Ever to secure the clay rose to the center of the lid.

With the BEST pick up tool EVER, I used Embellie Gellie & Best Glue Ever to add delicate flat back pearls.

And as easy as that, it is done.
Delicately Shabby Chic, holding equally as delicate a surprise inside.

The entire project took less than an hour.
