We’re having a blog swap with Lawn Fawn! They have some really cute matching stamp and die sets – perfect for cardmaking. And I was really intrigued by their sliders. How fun!
I grabbed a variety of inks I had laying around to try out their clear stamps. For these flowers I used Faber Castell gelatos, Jenni Bowlin and Distress Inks. I stamped two pages of flowers on smooth watercolor paper. I decided to use this heavier paper because I wanted to use these elements to make the slider and heavier paper would hold up better, and ScraPerfect’s Best Glue Ever is great for all kinds of papers, embellishments, and more!
To make the card I cut a cardstock base and two layers of the Perfectly Plaid paper. After adhering the paper with ScraPerfect’s Best Glue Ever I made the slider using Lawn Fawn’s instructions with double foam tape and a penny. I used the Perfect Crafting Pouch along the edges of the pieces to make it slide easier.
For the flower grouping, the orange flower on the bottom is attached to the penny, and the remaining flowers and leaves are attached to it. The entire grouping slides around the circle.
Here’s what I used to make this card from Lawn Fawn:
- Fab Flowers stamp set and Lawn Cuts
- Slide on Over Circles
- Small Cross Stitched Circle Stackables
- Perfectly Plaid 6×6 paper pack
And here’s a great Lawn Fawn video on the Slide On Over Circles. Have to say, these cards are kinda addicting to make!
