Chipboard Foiled Snowflakes using ScraPerfect

Hey there Scrappy Friends!
Lisa here with you today to share a few Christmas cards I created using the fun ScraPerfect products.

I used chipboard snowflakes and painted them white with acrylic paint:
Next, I applied a thin coat of the Best Glue Ever using the No-Clog Writing Cap. This was perfect for getting in the small spaces on the snowflake.

Let the glue dry until it becomes clear. Do not rush as you will see why on one of my completed snowflakes. I will point it out later in my tutorial.

Pick out the color/colors of  Transfer Foils you would like to use. I chose a teal and silver, perfect for snowflakes! Lay the foil on top of the snowflake once the glue is clear and tacky and using your finger, rub:

Peal the foil sheet off and wallah, you have a sparkly, beautiful snowflake!
Here is where you can see I didn’t let the glue dry quite enough… See the middle snowflake on the bottom? It wasn’t quite dry in some spots and pulled part of the chipboard off. The tiny snowflake on the upper right is a metal brad I applied it to. Next time I think I will sand the brad first. The foil didn’t stick to it as much as I would have like it to.

Finally, I took the Perfect Crafting Pouch and rubbed over the top of my snowflakes to remove any sticky residue from the glue:

Here are a few close ups:
Check out all the sparkly goodness of these foil chipboard snowflakes!

I love how these turned out and will be trying this again! Hope I have inspired you to try this fun technique!
