How To Make a Colorful Card With Beautiful Texture

Charity here from Scrappin’ Chaos with a colorful, multi texture card. I needed a design that would help me combine the variety of colors without being too garish. I also wanted to incorporate a few of the surplus foiled paper diecuts in my stash. Here are the tricks I used to make it all work.
This card is made entirely from scraps. It combines multiple patterns of cardstock, rough corrugated paper, and shiny foiled paper. I used layers of rectangles in different sizes to help the design flow and keep it simple. Pastels colors and simple shapes dominate this design. I used a red frame for contrast, and a rounded diecut as a focal point.

ScraPerfect’s Best Glue Ever works on multiple surfaces. With everything I had going on here it was the only choice! I had to have a fine tipped applicator for the detail pieces. The NO-Clog Writing Cap, also by ScraPerfect, saved the day. Stop by the ScraPerfect.com to see what other projects you can’t live without!

I finished off the card with dots of glitter glue. They add another pop of color and frame the central diecut.
