Christmas Cards in Minutes With ScraPerfect

Hi there, Kim L. here today for ScraPerfect to share some Christmas cards that can be made in minutes.  If you are like me, you can never have enough cards on hand when you need them and have to make them in a hurry.  I was in this predicament recently, so I grabbed a new paper pad and my ScraPerfect products and made these cards in thirty minutes.

Here’s how to make cards like these in a snap.  Get out some blank cards, scissors, paper, and a bottle of the Best Glue Ever and you are ready to get started.  To begin, I choose coordinating paper sheets from a new holiday paper pad from Martha Stewart and cut out different sizes to be layers.  I then adhered them to my card base with tiny dots of the Best Glue Ever.  It’s easy to make sure you don’t use too much glue when you put the large No Clog Writing Cap on your glue bottle because of the precision tip.  Continue to secure all of your layers onto your card in this manner.  I also added a piece of ribbon down the center of my card on top of the layers.

To give my sentiment more dimension as the focal point of my card, I used foam squares on the back that I got at the Dollar Tree.  I also added stickles to the sentiment and background layers to give my card some sparkle. Now it is time to embellish my card, this is my favorite part!  I made a bow out of the same silver satin ribbon I used in the middle of my card and attached it to the top center of the card with a large glue dot made from the Best Glue Ever.  I used a very small glue dot to add a white button to the center of the bow.  I wanted to accentuate the snow theme of this card, so I took a vintage snowflake doily that I had previously stiffened, attached a blue yo yo with a medium sized glue dot, then added a white button to the center and added it to my card.  The finishing  touch was two silver gray buttons placed on the sides of my card with the Best Glue Ever.  Here is how it turned out:
I am happy with how it turned out and that I was able to complete it in 10 minutes!  I decided to use more sheets of paper from the same pad and make two more cards as well.  I used the same technique of adding layers of papers, sentiment popped up as the focal point, and simple and easy embellishments.  In another twenty minutes, I had two more cards made.  I also added tiny buttons to these cards and did this easily with Embellie Gellie.
Here are the other card I made:
I hope you like my quick and easy Christmas cards.  I wouldn’t have been able to get them done so quickly without the help of the family of products from ScraPerfect!  I hope you will challenge yourself to see if you can make 3 cards in half an hour too.  Head over to the store and get your supplies and while you are there follow us on your social media accounts for more inspiration.  I’ll be back later in the month with another Christmas project!
Until Then.
